Teaching & Learning Fellow (Nursing Associate Programme)

The University of Salford has an exciting new opportunity for a Teaching and Learning Fellow on our Nursing Associate Programme!  The Nursing Associate programme successfully educates nursing associates who bridge the gap between qualified nurses and healthcare assistants, a role that has transformed the nursing and care workforce to help meet the diverse health needs of the people we look after.  The Ideal candidate will be passionate about high quality healthcare and widening participation in higher education preferably with experience of leading and teaching in higher education and substantial clinical experience.    The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research and leadership, building on our strengths and developing new ideas to meet the demands of a changing world, if this sounds exciting then we would love for you to join our team and work with us creating the professionals of the future!

Key Responsibilities

• Design teaching material and deliver, in a variety of settings from small group tutorials to large lectures, either across a range of modules or within a subject area including clinical skills and simulation.
• After a period of development take on a module leadership.
• Build internal contacts and seek external contacts to assist in the delivery of teaching activity and growth of engagement activity.
• Promote equality and diversity for students and staff and sustain an inclusive and supportive study and work environment in accordance with University policy.
