About the Estates and Facilities Division

Estates and Facilities has a vision to co-create excellent learning, working and living environments that fully engage staff, students, visitors and industry and that facilitates the sharing of knowledge and information.

Utilising the resources of more than 300 directly employed staff, supported by numerous external contractors, the Estates & Facilities Services element of the Directorate is responsible for delivering a full estates and facilities management service to the University, including capital development, property maintenance, cleaning, security, caretaking and landscaping

The Campus services department is a strategic and outward looking department overseeing the delivery of commercial services, that requires a hands-on administrator who will proactively support key projects and business support services including administrative support to the Head of the department.

We continue to operate informal hybrid working arrangements and are open to a mix of remote and campus-based working. There will be a requirement for you to be on campus, but how that mix of remote and onsite works will predominately be down to you to decide – we want you to manage your own time and commitments! We will discuss this with you as part of the selection process.

Supporting diversity and inclusion is at the heart of our community and we want our colleagues to reflect the diversity in our campus. As such, we welcome applications from candidates who might need to work flexibly, as well as those from underrepresented groups. We want our team to be a mix of people and skills, where everyone feels they have a voice and are able to succeed.
