A bit about the School of Science, Engineering and Environment:

The School of Science, Environment and Engineering (SEE) is an inter-disciplinary School comprising world-leading research and teaching that is industry relevant and aims to transform the quality of life for society and deliver a more sustainable future.  Salford has been leading the international research agenda in the built environment for more than 20 years, and the University’s Campus Masterplan includes three new buildings for the SEE School: a brand-new building to house SEE colleagues and teaching and learning activities; a new ERDF-funded Robotics Centre; and our Energy House 2.0, a sustainable construction testing facility focussed upon accelerating progress towards net zero housing design.  We have a long tradition of delivering flexible teaching programmes that are accredited by organisations such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Chartered Institute of Building, the Royal Institute of British Architects, and the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors amongst others.  Our multi-disciplinary team of academics and researchers collaborate closely with industry and as a result many of our graduates then go on to hold leadership positions in industry and academia throughout the world.
