Sustainability Innovation Manager

Are you knowledgeable and passionate about sustainability and ready to help us create a sustainable future?

We are seeking a Sustainability Innovation Manager to stimulate innovation and identify opportunities to help drive the University sustainability strategy. You will have a passion for, and in-depth understanding of, the key challenges in environmental sustainability, allied with a strong awareness of the opportunities for innovation.

Reporting to the Director of Sustainability and working closely with the central Sustainability Team the Sustainability Innovation Manager will support delivery of innovation projects across all sections of the university, including estates, support services and academic units. You will be responsible for ensuring that learning from the projects directly influences University operations and support the identification and award of external funding.

To succeed in this role, will be a strong networker with an ability to influence at all levels, your leadership and relationship skills will enable teams from across the University to use innovation to test and research real world sustainability problems as well as making a real impact on the sustainability of our University.
