Film Production is one of the School’s flagship programmes and the appointment of a Teaching Fellow will enable us to maintain and strengthen this position.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational Teaching Fellow with a proven record of accomplishment in professional film industry practice and experience of academic teaching at HE level. This role would suit an applicant with a specialism in Scriptwriting alongside experience in other areas of fictional filmmaking. 

Applicants should have experience of scripting a film AND seeing through some other element of the making of a film (e.g., producing, directing, editing, or production managing, etc). You will be familiar with a wide range of genres/forms, including drama, film, shorts, or features. The successful candidate will not only lecture across scriptwriting modules, but will also be involved in some of the practical elements of other modules on the course. 

Being part of a team is important to us and we are looking for a good team player who is willing to inspire and lead by example. There would also be an expectation that you have links with industry partners, or are willing to develop them.

This is a full-time, permanent position and the starting salary is £35,333 per annum.
