A bit about LTEC

LTEC is led by a senior academic and supported by a nucleus of people with a proven track record of excellence in learning, teaching and assessment. It provides a focal point to disseminate and embed best practice, engaging with all teaching staff. Its role is to support and inspire educators and facilitate change through action. Working with and within Academic Schools to embed changes and enhancements to practice, the Centre is an enabler to inform and change practice and to communicate successes, bringing Salford to the forefront as a sector leader.

What will the role involve? 

We are seeking a PA/Support Officer to assist the Professor of Learning and Teaching and Head of LTEC in the delivery of the Enabling Student Success (ESS) framework to make impactful change across four key areas: customer service, academic success, leadership and environment, while supporting LTEC with its ambitious transformation strategy. Reporting to the Head of LTEC and Professor of Learning and Teaching, the PA/Support Officer will provide high level, confidential and comprehensive PA and business administration to support LTEC to drive excellence and ensure consistent good practice in learning, teaching and assessment that will enable our students and staff to succeed.

You'll have the following skills & experience

To deliver the challenges of this role the PA/Support Officer will be expected to demonstrate high levels of initiative, outstanding time-management and organisational skills, be able to identify creative solutions and work in a collaborative manner.

The starting salary for this post is £25,642 and the annual leave allocation is 23 days per annum.
