A bit about Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations…

In the Directorate of Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations, we are responsible for the core range of activities that promote and engage with our external environment and stakeholders. This includes both prospective and current students, businesses and our local community. Made up of Marketing and Communications, Student Recruitment and Outreach and External Relations teams, we work together to plan and deliver key activities that support the University’s ambitions for growth, diversity and an increased profile.

 

So, what will the role involve?

We are inviting applications for a permanent, full time Administrative and Finance Assistant.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide administrative and finance support to a wide variety of stakeholders within the Directorate.

Providing administrative and finance experience for a wide variety of duties such as finance supplier liaison and set up, raising purchase orders, managing a busy mailbox with a variety of queries, logging leave and absence, supporting with meeting and greeting candidates and external visitors and supporting the senior leadership team. You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of initiative with excellent interpersonal skills, possess the ability to work autonomously and be an integral member of the Directorate Support Team.
