At the University of Salford, we’re looking forward to the arrival of our new £65 million Science and Engineering building, regional robotics hub and pioneering Energy House research centre. To support our journey, we’re now looking for a Marketing Officer to help us to attract the best and brightest students to become unstoppable in science, engineering and technology.

What do we want?

We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Marketing Officer. With experience in digital marketing, you will help us to deliver impactful and high-quality marketing campaigns and content that will raise awareness, generate applications, and convert undergraduate and postgraduate prospects into students.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be a key member of our Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations team. You will work closely with academic and professional services colleagues across the wider institution to promote courses to prospective students and raise our brand profile.

At the heart of the role, you will deliver engaging, measurable and insight-driven marketing campaigns to our student recruitment audiences. Proactive and creative, you will be willing to try new ideas and have a passion for curating high-quality content.  Collaborative in approach, you will have excellent teamwork skills and the confidence to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Providing expertise to our colleagues, our busy Marketing team delivers engagements, events and campaigns, working closely with academic teams to promote our courses, facilities and research to prospective students and industry partners.
